ROLE

Dundee is looking to hire a JuniorBuilding Operator with a minimum of one (1) to three (3) years experience in a commercial building maintenance role:

  • Maintain exterior grounds including snow removal and sanding of outdoor surfaces during winter months and sweeping and garbage removal in summer
  • Perform regular and periodical inspections of the buildings and grounds as required and document any irregularities
  • Carry out repairs, maintenance and some janitorial services of the building and equipment including but not limited to: clean and replace air filters; mechanical and electrical equipment testing and servicing, heating/cooling monitoring; plumbing repairs; general building repairs, light replacements
  • Assist with tenant services and preventative maintenance using Angus Anywhere
  • Assist with maintenance and operation of all buildings in the portfolio as required, including being on call rotation
  • Other duties as assigned

SKILLS

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Fireman’s Certificate an asset

ROLE

Dundee is looking to hire a Building Operator with a minimum of three (3) years building maintenance experience.

  • Responsible for repairs and preventative maintenance of all physical plant and building related mechanical/electrical systems
  • Ensure buildings are maintained in proper working order
  • Support supervisor with operations duties and external service providers
  • Ability to conduct weekly, monthly and annual testing, inspection and documentation of building systems
  • Maintain lighting throughout the building and ensure appropriate inventory
  • Respond to and resolve tenant & customer based work orders in a timely manner
  • Participant of the Building Emergency Response Team
  • Provide “on call” evenings & weekend services as scheduled by management team and be available for all after-hour emergency situations
Distillery operations requires flexibility with working hours – this position also requires to work weekends on a rotating basis

SKILLS

  • Training in BAS systems, central plant controls, and variable speed systems would be considered advantages
